Biography
CAPT Monica Leonard, MPH, RS/CP-FS, serves as Section Chief for Program Services in the Lead Poisoning Prevention and Surveillance Branch within the Division of Environmental Health Science and Practice (DEHSP). Since 2009, CAPT Leonard has actively served as an Environmental Health Officer in the United States Public Health Service Commissioned Corps. Her leadership and environmental health expertise have contributed to significant public health impact and have been instrumental in strengthening and rebuilding national programs.
