Overview

The Virtual Institute is an on-demand educational experience for professionals in lead poisoning prevention, healthy housing, environmental health, renovation, construction, public health, and related fields. We provide high-quality education that can be accessed anytime, anywhere.

We are seeking engaging presentations with practical information, innovative ideas, successful programs, lessons learned, case studies, research findings, and emerging trends relevant to our audience.

Before you submit

  • Pre-record your session (15–45 minutes) with clear audio and video.
  • Include a required cover slide at the start of your presentation.
  • Submit your proposal by July 1, 2026; final recording due July 25, 2026.
  • Confirm you accept the speaker permission and release terms below.

1 Purpose of the Virtual Institute

The Virtual Institute extends learning beyond our in-person conferences and creates year-round access to valuable educational content.

2 Content Expectations

The Virtual Institute is intended to complement, not duplicate, our in-person conferences. Do not submit a direct repeat of content from the April 2026 National Lead & Healthy Housing Conference in New Orleans, or content planned for the November 2026 conference in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Speakers are encouraged to

  1. Expand upon a topic introduced in New Orleans.
  2. Share updates, lessons learned, or additional details not included in a previous presentation.
  3. Present a focused case study, technical topic, or emerging issue related to a larger conference presentation.
  4. Offer a preview or "teaser" of a topic that will be explored in greater depth at the Manchester conference.
  5. Introduce new content that may not fit within a traditional conference session format.

Our goal is fresh educational content and continued engagement before and after our in-person events.

To discuss an idea before submitting, contact us.
