Biography
Caroline Obi is a Georgia Certified Lead Inspector and Risk Assessor with over five years in public health and four years of experience in lead poisoning prevention, healthy housing initiatives and community health promotion to reduce lead-related health risks. With firsthand experience studying and living in a rural community, she is passionate about promoting preventive health and early intervention practices and supporting healthy home environments that improve child development outcomes for children in rural settings. Holding a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Environmental Health, she has extensive experience identifying environmental hazards and implementing prevention strategies to protect children and families. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with families, housing professionals, health care providers, schools and community organizations, leveraging both technical expertise and community engagement to raise awareness of home environmental health issues, promote lead-safe practices, and empower communities through education and outreach.
