Healthy Homes & District Lead Coordinator, Cobb/Douglas Health District, Georgia Finna Temple is a Master of Public Health Professional (MPH) & Environmental Health Professional with over 8 years of extensive background in Healthy Homes Investigations of Asthma Triggers. She is also a Georgia Certified Lead Inspector & Risk Assessor and currently works for Georgia Department of Public Health – Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention program (CLPPP). She is passionate about identifying effective Lead Surveillance & Preventive Strategies in reducing lead poisoning in the community she serves. By empowering parents, caregivers, and providers through education and outreach opportunities, she raises awareness of other hidden sources of lead exposure in residential homes that go beyond traditional lead-based paint hazards and promotes lead screening among pregnant women and parents who work in lead-related occupations.
