Robert Thompson
Creative Director & Founder
Fourth Kind Films
Biography
Born and raised in New Hampshire, Robert Thompson has always been drawn to stories—the people behind them, the places they come from, and the moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. That curiosity, along with a natural connection to people, eventually became the foundation for a career he never quite expected. As the Founder and Creative Director of Fourth Kind Films, Robert has built his career around bringing those stories to life. His projects have connected him with first responders, manufacturers, small-business owners, community leaders, families, and organizations throughout the region. Through commercial filmmaking, documentaries, recruitment campaigns, community initiatives, and event production, he approaches each project with the belief that the best work starts with understanding the people behind it. Some of the work Robert is most proud of has happened close to home. Fourth Kind Films has partnered with municipalities, nonprofits, businesses, first responders, and organizations throughout New Hampshire and the surrounding region. Many of those projects have turned into long-term relationships, and that sense of trust has become a big part of what Robert values most about the work. Away from the camera, Robert is a devoted father, a role that has reshaped the way he looks at success, purpose, and the future. Fatherhood has given him an even greater appreciation for where he comes from and a stronger desire to build something his daughter can one day be proud of. Looking ahead, Robert wants to keep growing Fourth Kind Films without losing what made it work in the first place. The goal is to create bigger opportunities, work with great people, give other creatives a chance to grow, and keep building a company that feels personal, ambitious, and true to where it started.
