Biography
Sheriff Mark Anderson has served with Vermont’s Windham County Sheriff’s Office since 2004, becoming Sheriff in 2019. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts and has held several roles on local, state, and national boards, committees, and councils. Recognizing the shared mission of public safety and public health, he champions prevention-focused initiatives that address community health risks. As Project Director of a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development lead hazard grant in Windham County, he enjoys the intersection of the public safety perspective regarding preventing lead exposure with strengthening public health partnerships throughout Windham County.
