Biography
Rachael Stough is the principal investigator and program director for Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention. She has a Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology and Health Promotion and a Bachelor of Science with a double major in Psychology and Sociology. She has worked for the Tennessee Department of Health since 2016. Prior to this, she worked over a decade providing administrative, clinical, and reflective supervision within evidence-based home visiting programs and case management for adults and children who had persistent mental health, behavioral health, and co-occurring substance abuse. She has two adult children who were born with profound bilateral sensorineural hearing loss. She dedicates her professional work investing in lessons learned towards professionals and those families who also encounter unexpected special health care needs.
