Biography
Michelle Beltran is the Director of Continuing Education at the Center for Occupational and Environmental Health (COEH) at the University of California, Berkeley School of Public Health. In this role, she leads the strategic design, delivery, and growth of professional education programs serving thousands of occupational and environmental health practitioners annually. Her work includes expanding continuing education for the California Labor Lab, a NIOSH Center of Excellence for Total Worker Health®; helping to launch the internationally recognized COEH Online Human Factors and Ergonomics Training Program; and building a national webinar series in partnership with NIOSH Education and Research Centers across the country. Michelle's experience in program leadership, operations, and partnership development centers on translating research into accessible education that supports real-world improvements in worker and community health and safety. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies with a minor in Urban Environmental Science from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry.
