Biography
Emma Rutin is a project manager on EPA Region 1’s lead paint team with three years’ experience managing grants for state lead programs and delivering outreach to contractors, property owners, and the public. Emma has partnered with the Brownfields team to train youth, remediation workers, and nonprofits, and to address lead paint issues during remediation of brownfields sites into residential properties. She holds both her Bachelors and Masters degrees in public health from the University of Arizona, where she researched environmental microbiology and agricultural water quality.
